About the Authors
Catherine Burley MSc PGCE BSc AFBPS
Catherine Burley is a consultant clinical psychologist who works
for Northwest Anglia Healthcare (NHS Trust) where she has the
responsibility of managing the development of psychological
services for the elderly in Peterborough and Fenland, UK. She
supervises trainees for the PhD Clinical Psychology Training course
at University of East Anglia. Her clinical interests are loss and
bereavement, working with carers of people with dementia,
developing multi-sensory environments and links between stress and
cardiac rehabilitation. She is particularly interested in
Parkinson's Disease and spoke at the PDNSA conference at Droitwich
in 1999. A graduate of Bristol and Leicester Universities, she has
her Masters degree in Psychopathology
