Carolyn Noble RGN
Carolyn Noble is a Parkinson's Disease Nurse Specialist /
Neurological Rehabilitation Co-ordinator. After working for several
years as a community nurse she set up the Parkinson's Disease
Nursing Service in the Peterborough area. She has published on the
role of the Parkinson's Disease Nurse Specialist (PDNS), has
presented papers at many national and international conferences and
has visited nurses in Stockholm to discuss the development of the
role in Sweden. Carolyn Noble is a founder member of the
Parkinson's Disease Nurse Specialist Association and is currently
involved in research investigating the role of "nurse prescribing"
within the PDNS practice framework. She is a member both of the
Parkinson's Disease Society Primary Care Task Force and The
Parkinson's Disease Society Nurse Development Committee.
