About the Authors
Professor Lia Rossi Prosperi
Professor Lia Rossi Prosperi graduated in Biological Sciences at
the University of Florence and specialised in Alimentary Sciences
on at the University of Perugia. She is Advisor for the Office of
Health for Tuscany, for the province and commune of Arezzo and
Sienna and is associated with the National Order of Biologists and
European Communities Biologists Associations. She is President of
the Italian Association of Restoration, Science Person Responsible
for National Conferences and is a Member of the Scientific
Committee of the centre "Francesco Redi" (social-health,
environmental information and research centre). Dr Rossi Prosperi
lectures on the nutritional aspects of neurological diseases at the
University of Perugia, in Perugia, Italy. She is a contributory
author in collaboration with Dr Geoffrey Leader, Lucille Leader and
Professor Aroldo Rossi of the Italian book Morbo Di Parkinson -
Suggerimenti Nutrizionali (Pythagora Press, Milan, Italy). Often a
TV guest on nutrition and health programmes, she also writes for
magazines which deal with health issues, has published several
brochures of nutritional information and is author of the Italian
book "Eat Well to Grow Well" (ideaLibri) for children,
parents and teachers.
